≡ About Change of State Performance Project
Change of State Performance Project was founded in 2005 by Andrea del Moral and K. Qilo Matzen. In January 2006, we became a fiscally sponsored project of CounterPULSE. We are currently planning a summer and fall full of performances, ranging from our full-length play Take This House (and Float it Away) to the cybernetic choreography of Lisa Fay. We plan to incorporate our somatic training through expiraments with scores.
The mission of Change of State Performance Project is to fuse improvisation, theatre, and somatic techniques to create precise and absurd live performance. We careen across the dance-theatre spectrum, asking into today’s looming socio-political issues.
